Drift G1 Utah

A few months back we had a drift event out at the G1 track in Utah. Shout out to D-Spare.com for putting on the event and Cam Auto Magazine for making the Video. This was my first Drift event out there and i had a blast. Also you will see our Boy Jordan throwing it down in his White S13. It was a party.

Alright, So I'll admit it. I suck at this whole blogging thing and keeping this updated :(
Everyone has kinda been in winter mode and there hasn't been as much going on. But don't worry, that will change soon, spring is almost here.
Speaking of spring we are starting planning for the next BattleStance meet so keep an eye out, more info coming soon. (Email me if you'd like to be involved, we will be looking for sponsors again pretty soon)

Ever since I knew Pete, his car has been one of my favorites to this day. The first time I saw it in person at the first annual BattleStance meet, I knew this car had to be featured. Sitting right on stance GR+ Pro coilovers and sandblasted Torques, the setup remains unique in it's own way from others running similar.

It was my first event but still super fun! I still need A LOT of practice but I still had a blast.

So the meet was a huge success! We had an awesome turnout, and other than it being so damn hot outside everyone seemed to have a really good time! I was glad to see lots of sick cars show up, although one did catch on fire on the way home from the meet :( poor VW. We raffled off some cool stuff, dyno'd some cars, had some food, and by far the funnest, a sweet burnout contest!

My friend Nick and I went out the other to night to shoot some photos after realizing he doesn't have ANY decent pictures that do this car justice, (not that these ones even do) but still.

I don't know what it is but I just love the way this car looks. Super clean, and most important of all, super slammmed! Fitment is definitely on point.

Drift Idaho!

Idaho's first drift event went down on Sunday at Magic Valley Speedway in Twin Falls. I made the trip up with a few friends and some of the other DriftUtah kids to hang out and snap some photos. I was actually super impressed, There were quite a few pretty sick cars and some of the kids were just killin' it out there! Workin hard to put Idaho on the map.

Despite getting lost on the way there and ending up at a landfill in the middle of nowhere, Getting a gnarly sunburn, and a near death experience involving our truck/trailer jumping the freeway median, I had a blast. Awesome day, met lots of new people and a few fellow WrongFitmentCrew members too! Definitely worth the trip. See you guys next time!

Back from the dead?

When I saw the "The Loss of a Friend" video/article from Mike Burroughs about the death of his e28 "rusty" I, as well as lots of people around various forums/blogs, was super bummed to see such a sick car go. There's just something about it that grabs a hold of you and just won't let go. The whole rust theme, the old school fighter plane paint job, the absolutely amazing fitment/stance, The car is just one of those that stands out far above all the rest.

But as if by some sort of miracle, Rusty seems to be back from the dead! Ok, so it wasn't a miracle.. According to mike there is some major frame bracing now as well as some floor pan welding, But either way the car is alive and kickin, boasting a new 1jz heart (twin-turbo inline 6). Mike also threw on a new set of wheels and him and a couple guys have fabbed up a custom one off airbag setup, These guys are nuts!

I saw these photos posted up over in the Stanceworks intro section, and thought to myself "Hey that's gorgeous, kinda cool it's from UT!" Then sure enough, I get a text a few hours after from my buddy Quin. Went something like, "OMFG I JUST EMAILED YOU SOME PICS OF THIS JETTA I SAW AT DENNYS TONIGHT." haha sure enough, same car. I figured I had to post it. White mk4 on BBS RS's, white face with a polished lip. Super clean. Enjoy :)

BrooklynAssMike's 09 Legacy GT

This thing is just awesome. There's no other way to say it. you definitely don't see too many stanced legacy GT's out there, which makes it even more unique. Spotted him over on wrong fitment crew and thought he deserved a post on BattleStance :)

He doesn't have very many specs available right now, aside for wheel size/offset/color. He's currently running Rota Grids, 18x9.5 +38 offset in Hyper black, and damn it looks good. I was a little hesitant on the lip, but it's growing on me for sure. It's covered in about $50 dollars worth of illest/fatlace stickers, so gotta give him props for that! Haha. On to the photos:

I had some free time tonight and was messing around in photoshop and came up with this picture. I was just gonna make a sticker or something but I've thinking of making this into the next t-shirt design. If there is enough interest we will probably start producing some of these. I snapped a few quick shots of Tony's car with his new lip outside of the bowling alley tonight. For some reason I LOVE shooting in the rain lately. But the building had all kinds of pink and green lights on it so the colors came out super nasty so I just decided to go black and white.

He has some new wheels coming pretty soon too, so keep an eye out for that! It's gonna be sick.

I headed down to Salt Lake yesterday to pick up some supplies and met up with Shane to snap some photos while we were down there. It was a super long day and we seemed to get chased out of every good photo spot we found. But all in all still a good time, and managed to get a few shots I liked. Yom also came through towards the end to shoot some photos of his own.

Didn't even make it to the car wash before Shane broke his lip off haha.

But luckily I had my "first aid kit" on me. (Always be prepared)

What's up everyone, Jordan invited me to become a blogger on here yesterday after a photoshoot, so I thought I'd introduce myself! My name is shane, I go by shanemono4 on the forums. Some hobbies of mine are Golf, Photography, and of course, cars. I fell in love with low/stanced cars a couple years ago, and I have to give some credit to Lance because If I would've never seen his silver bugeye slammed in person I don't think I would've ever got the inspiration to do it. Also, I think BattleStance is going to be big here in Utah, the scene is growing pretty quick out here it's nice to see. As for my car, it's pretty basic. 2003 Subaru Impreza 2.5rs, Platinum Silver Metallic. Not too many engine mods aside from a cobb lightweight pulley, Borla UEL headers, and CBE. Suspension is BC racing BR series coilovers, standard 8k/6k spring rates, WRX 20mm rear sway bar, front and rear camber plates, rear SPC camber bolts. Wheels are Sportmaxx/xxr 002 16x8 0 offset, hyper silver with machined lip wrapped in 205/55's.

Now by no means is this car the lowest, or the flushest. But in my opinion Brendon Stewart's 05 wrx wagon is one of the baddest. This car brings a whole new meaning to BattleStance. While most of the cars you will see on this blog spend their days on the street dodging potholes and fighting speed bumps haha, You will find Brendon out at the track Battling it out at every track day/snowcross/lap battle. You gotta respect the amount of time, work, and patience that goes into a project like this, the kid has seriously put his heart and soul into this car, and is always striving to be the best.

And as we all know, that much hard work almost always pays off in the end. Brendon just took first place on Saturday in the Rally Sport Direct Lap Battle Time Attack event! Congrats on a well deserved win!

I've always been a fan of 16's on civics and integras and stuff like that but when I heard about Shane putting them on his 2.5Rs I wasn't a huge fan of the idea. But I gotta be honest, I think he pulled it off. For some reason it flows really well with his car. The wheels are Sportmaxx/ xxr 002's, 16x8 0 offset with a 205/55R16 tire. Love it or hate it, its definitely nice to see someone doing something different.

The StunnrStatus evo is another one of my personal favorites. Everything about this car is sick. The car is SLAMMED on some white grids, seriously the lowest evo I think I have ever seen. When I think of the sickest stanced cars, Abbitt Wilkerson's sti is always one of the first that comes to mind, and if you are on the forums at all chances are you have seen or at least heard of it. Abbitt's fitment is ALWAYS on point, and he is constantly changing his style up to stay a couple steps ahead of the game. This kid goes through wheel/tire setups like nobody's business. Simple, clean, slammed, effective. Keep up the good work!

Ok, so now that you know a little bit about the background of BattleStance, lets get into the cars.
Let me first start off by introducing myself. My name is Jordan, Founder of BattleStance haha, I make all the stickers, shirts, hoodies etc, Im the guy to go to for merch and what not. I also do most of our photography. And here is a look at my daily low. I drive a 2006 wrx wagon, static dropped on bc racing inverted coilovers with 10k/8k springs and rollin work emotion cr-kai's (18x9.5 et.38)

Next is Slammed pants Lance, Lance is our powdercoater, welder, fabricator. Basically you need it built, this guy can do it. He is the master of custom setups, and has custom built almost everything on his car!

Here is a a couple of his most recent rides. First his 66 vw fastback, the pictures speak for themselves.. Probably the lowest car around.

And most of all, his shaved and tucked, slammed, custom rotated turbo kit, 2003 wrx.
Now on 18x10 rota svn-r's and bc racing inverted coilovers, with a mod list worthy of a whole post to its self!

Hello, and welcome to the BattleStance blog! For those who don't know what BattleStance is all about, let this post serve as a little introduction.

It started out as just a small group of friends with a common interest in slammed, stanced cars and the culture that surrounds it all. BattleStance was a term we used to describe cars that were slammed, wide wheels, aggressive fitment, basically just looked mean and "ready for battle" so to speak haha. We kind of just adopted the name to our little group, and it has just grown from there. We started producing, shirts, hoodies, stickers, all kinds of stuff to rep BattleStance here in our local scene but figured we would start a blog and try to start expanding. By no means is BattleStance some exclusive little "crew", but more just a group of people with a common interest in stanced cars and car culture.

A couple of us are gonna try to keep this blog updated regularly. It will be a look into our lifestyle consisting of the sickest cars (of course), music, video's, cool gear, events, and whatever else is going on! So stay tuned, and drop us a line, or say whats up when you see us locally, come pick up some merch or something!
